Study in Bulgaria
An EU diploma, affordable tuition and English-language programmes — a rising choice for international students, above all in medicine.
Universities
State universities in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas grant diplomas recognised across the EU. English-language programmes are common in medicine, dentistry and engineering; tuition is well below Western Europe.
Student Residence Permit
With an admission letter you obtain a D visa and then a student residence permit. Students may work part-time; post-graduation job search and transition to a Blue Card are available routes.
After Graduation
With an EU diploma you can continue your career in Bulgaria or anywhere in the union. The local skills shortage gives new graduates early responsibility and room to rise quickly.
